On the skin of the upper lip, there is an irregular, nodular lesion.

Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC)
Clinical Pathologic Correlation
SCC is the second most common malignant skin tumor.
It tends to arise on skin surfaces exposed to the sun in
older individuals. SCC also occurs in association with
immunosuppression and chronic irritation of the skin. In
contrast to basal cell carcinoma, SCC often
metastasizes to distant sites.
