Findings

At medium power, cross-sectional profiles of proximal convoluted tubules and longitudinal profiles of collecting tubules and duct are shown.

Comment

This micrograph captures the interface between a medullary ray and cluster of proximal convoluted tubules in the renal cortex. The medullary rays contain collecting tubules and ducts that drain their contents into papillae of the renal medulla.
