Summary
Findings
In this survey image, the cortex is shown at the right
and the interface between cortex and medulla at left.
The cortex is characterized by the presence of
numerous renal glomeruli surrounded by tubular
profiles. In contrast, the medulla consists of renal
tubules without glomeruli.
Comment
Profiles of the arcuate vessels mark the interface of the
cortex and medulla.
